Master Copy WIP

Master Copy Painting

So I chose Greg Manchess as my master to copy. I was thinking of doing part of his Wizard of Oz piece.

 

Kenny

I have a love hate relationship with this piece but I don't know why I dislike it... So I might be doing another one. Our teacher wanted us to play around with texture and layer blending modes. I had a lot of fun with it. I based the character off of Kenny from South Park because well he always dies and I wanted to try to be subtly gory mostly because that is how most people recognize him.

When he walks

For the third assignment, we had to paint a pumpkin and have texture in it. In this painting I have my zombie cat walking by a pumpkin. My zombie cat is based off of my purse that I carry around everywhere. I have yet to name it, but so far it is a he.

This assignment was apples and lately I have been obsessed with crabs and crab-like things, so I thought it would be fun to do crab apples.

Digital Master Copy

This is the first assignment for my Digital Illustration class. The assignment was to pick someone who you thought was a master and copy a pencil drawing of theirs, but digitally. So I picked Mark Henn's concept for Princess Tiana. Mine is the one on the left. I couldn't find a filter to match the texture of the background...
